Mississippi GED Information

Requirements to take the GED test in State of Mississippi:

1. You Must be 18 years old or older. 17 year olds must meet certain conditions and restrictions; call your local GED examiner or ABE director to learn about how to meet these conditions.

2. You Must be out of school for at least 3 months or regular high school class has to have graduated.

You Must be a Mississippi Resident

The Cost to take a GED is $40.00. The retesting fee is $12.00 per section. Call your GED examiner to learn about exam retesting schedules.

Scores required to pass:

Must score at least a 410 on each test with an average score of 450.

Graduates from either high school program are eligible to order the diploma package which includes verfication services. If you are a graduate of the fast online high school program, you are eligible for one email verification completion. For graduates of the honor's high school diploma course, one email and phone verification is included as a standard with the graduation package. Our updated verification process provides an effective way for employers, schools, organizations and more to confirm a gradaute has passed our program. Our high school advisors work on behalf of the graduates to ensure the appropriate representative receives the information approved to be released by the graduate.
